Getting Started with Let’s Reach Success

Just published a ‘Start Here’ page on the blog. You can find it in the menu at the top of the page.

Enjoying this?
I've got some bonus content for you. Get access to more motivational and practical stuff, and receive weekly updates.

It’s one of the most important elements of every decent blog, and might be considered as important as the ‘About’ and ‘Archives’.

I knew that before. But creating it a long time ago wouldn’t have been that useful, as there wasn’t enough content.

Now there are around 150 posts here. And when someone new stops by, they don’t really want to scroll through all the articles in the archives. It’s time-consuming and boring.

So this page is for them mainly. It’s like a quick guide on what to do with the site once you’re here.

It makes things easier as I’ve arranged the most popular posts on Let’s Reach Success by topic (not the official categories I use, but by subjects I think you’ll find relevant).

When I come across a blog I like, a page like that comes in handy because I can browse through everything important there in no time.

I’ve also included the best of the posts I’ve written for other sites. It’s the only place where you can find my guest posts together.

So when someone visits Let’s Reach Success and wants to know more about me and the blog, he goes to the About page. If he wants to see everything I’ve written from day one, the Archives are waiting for him.
But if he wants to see the top posts, to understand what the site is all about and to read what’s most important and useful, he will go to the Start Here page.

Let me know what you think about it in the comments below.

Do you consider a page like that a must-have element of every blog?
Also, give me a link to yours if you have one. I’d love to check it out.

  1. A good idea. The problem is, some of the ‘free’ themes do not allow for multiple pages. I can only have ‘home’ and ‘about’ page.

    1. Haven’t tried a theme like that so far. But each one answers different things we want.
For me, having all my pages in a visible place (that stays there even when scrolling down) is important.
