As a freelancer myself, I like finding and joining new freelancing platforms. You never know where your next client or gig will come from. And it’s always a good idea to get your name out there in front of a new audience.
In this week’s review post, I wanna share the latest site for freelancers that I joined, FreelanceMyWay.
Why Join FreelanceMyWay?
As shared on their About page:
Our mission at FreelanceMyWay is to provide an easy, reliable and safe solution for you to connect with businesses and freelancers from all over the world.
Here’s why I think it’s great for both employers looking to hire contractors, and freelancers looking for exposure:
– the chance to find your next ideal client/freelancer;
– a new income stream for your freelance business;
– it’s free to post a job and create a profile;
– the payment process is safe and pretty straightforward;
– manage your work from any device and from anywhere;
– great customer service;
– all remote workers on the platform have gone through a verification process;
– everything you do on the site is fast and simple.
How Does It Work for Employers?
Looking to hire a writer, programmer, web designer, or else? Then you can head to FreelanceMyWay.com, post a job for free, and wait for the first bids to come. Your money is safe in your account until the work is started or delivered, you review it, and decide to release payment.
How Does It Work for Freelancers?
If you’re a freelancer, you simply sign up and wait for approval. I received mine almost immediately.
After this, I added the necessary details in my profile so I present myself in the best way possible in front of new clients. That’s the description, my writing services, language skills, etc. Here’s how it looks like:
I then browsed jobs in my category, writing, and applied to what seemed like a good fit for me. Soon after I received a message (you get notifications for anything like that by email), and got hired. You can see the first money I earned in my profile above.
That just shows it’s always a good idea to put yourself out there, join a new platform, showcase your work in front of more people, and give a new collaboration a try. That’s what I did with FreelanceMyWay and I’ll keep an eye on new jobs posted there.
