If you’re not motivated, haven’t felt alive in a while, feel lost, confused, a bit depressed, or have lost hope and point in the stuff you do, hang in there.
Whatever your situation is, you can change it and learn how to turn your life around.
I believe that everyone can live a better life and be a better person
It doesn’t matter who you are, what you have, or even where you’re going. Because in order to start your transformation, you’ll only need stuff like a definite desire, a vision, willingness to change for the better, to be ready to make sacrifices and say ‘no’ to things and to be doing something every day in order to get to this better life of yours.
Being tired of your present, realizing that you can have much more, setting goals and having an action plan is the beginning of the journey.
From then on, it’s all about how consistent and motivated you’ll be.
Because these two abilities will help you keep going after you’ve failed, try one more time, approach people and ask for what you want, work hard, read and learn a lot about your niche, never get discouraged by others, try new systems and methods and find out what works best for you.
But some people are so insecure in the beginning, that they rarely know where to start.
So, if you’re wondering how to turn your life around, here I’ve listed the areas on which you can work:
How to Turn Your Life Around and Become a Better Version of Yourself
1. Exercise.
Working out regularly (preferably daily) is an important part of every successful person’s life.
But people who don’t do it rarely know about the not-so-obvious benefits of that.
Exercising builds character, willpower, makes you feel good about yourself, improves your performance in every other area of life.
And yes, going to the gym helps you build muscle and boost your metabolism. But it also takes effort and discipline to make yourself get there. Looking in the mirror while pushing yourself to the limit during the last set gives your brain something to get back to when you feel discouraged.
This picture gets stuck in your mind and, over time, you realize you’re much stronger than you think, and can achieve more. You start to feel and look better, you’re more confident, not afraid to approach people, etc.
2. Read.
Never stop reading. Be it books, blogs, newspapers, articles, or else – do it daily.
Many stop doing it over time, and thus stop their development. Don’t become one of them.
Here are 5 great blogs I’m reading now.
3. Eliminate toxic friends.
I’ve listed the types of toxic people here.
4. Declutter.
Throw away all the stuff you’ve been living with for years, but which you haven’t used in months. Or which you probably won’t use again.
My advice is to be ruthless when it comes down to personal belongings or things that you consider important. Because most of the times, they’re not.
All these objects are just giving you more things to take care of, they take space and don’t give you the freedom to buy new stuff.

5. Eat better.
If you’re on your way to self-improvement, it’s high time you fix your diet.
No junk food, no gluten, no sugar at all. Many proteins and veggies with every meal. And so on. You know the basics, and there’s plenty of great information out there.
The goal is to change your habits, to teach your stomach that it doesn’t need to feel full, your mind that it doesn’t need junk food in order to enjoy a movie, and so on.
Once you do that, eating whatever you want occasionally won’t hurt.
6. Start getting up early.
When I’m wondering how to turn my life around, one thing always works – waking up early. It’s one of the fundamental habits that help you get better in any other area too.
If you get up early, you’ll have more time for yourself, the chance to start your day the way you want, to have a morning routine, to do some reading and writing and plan your day.
You’ll also be more productive, feel proud of yourself, and all that will put you in a great mind frame before getting down to work.

7. Leave the past behind.
Let go of what was to turn your life around. You can’t change it. There’s nothing else you can do about it, but to take a lesson and move on.
Work on that mindset until you know how to set yourself free of what’s happened the moment it’s gone. Only this way will you be able to be present and mindful of what you’re doing, and thus work on your goals and create a better future.

8. Rest properly.
If you’re going to sleep, sleep well.
Take power naps during the day.
Meditate.
Learn how to reclaim your time and prioritize – do your work when you’re most productive, and respect your brain and body’s desire to rest when they want to.
So that’s how to turn your life around. These 8 areas are great to begin with.
And remember, you’re the only one that can do anything to change your life. You can turn it round in no time if you set yourself on fire by changing your habits, challenging yourself and falling in love with the process.
Which of these are you currently working on? And which areas need more improvement?
